Sometimes it can be hard to find accessible, non-academic resources to help people working in humanitarian and development settings understand and implement feminist approaches to addressing violence against women and girls (VAWG), and empower them to promote women-centred GBV theory and practice. To build the confidence and competence of practitioners, researchers, policy-makers and other advocates, COFEM has developed the Feminist Pocketbook – a series of short, easily digestible tip sheets.
Additionally, watch our Feminist Pocketbook video series here! In this video series, COFEM members reflect on how guidance in the Feminist Pocketbook has helped them more effectively articulate and implement feminist-informed approaches to addressing VAWG in their work. We are sure that their perspectives resonate with many, and we encourage you to share these videos forward with colleagues and friends.
We have also created a social media toolkit with tweets and graphics that further highlight the messages found in the Feminist Pocketbook, which you can download here for your own use!
